The factory arms use fluid-filled bushings, and as they wear and the ball joints develop play the alignment wanders and the steering loses its precision - 034 note this can start from around 40,000 miles on hard-driven cars.

The 034 Density Line arms use solid 65 durometer rubber bushings in place of the fluid-filled items, so there is nothing to leak, and deflection under load is reduced compared with new factory arms. New ball joints are supplied with the kit. 034 rate the noise, vibration and harshness increase as none to low, and the kit pairs well with their Density Line adjustable upper control arms.

Key Features

Replaces all four factory front lower control arms

Solid 65 durometer Density Line rubber bushings

No fluid-filled bushings to leak

Reduced suspension deflection for sharper steering response

New ball joints included

Drop-in replacement for the factory arms

034 NVH rating: none to low

What's in the box

Front lower control arms - front position (left and right)

Front lower control arms - rear position (left and right)

Ball joints (pair)

Lower control arm installation hardware kit

Product Details

Brand: 034 Motorsport

Manufacturer Part Number: 034-401-1069

Type: Front Lower Control Arm Kit

Country of Origin: United States

Performance Part: Yes

Unit Quantity: 1 kit (4 arms)

Bushing: Density Line rubber, 65 durometer

Placement on Vehicle: Front, lower, left and right

Replaces OE Part Numbers: 8W0 407 151 A/B/C/D, 8W0 407 152 A/B/C/D, 8W0 407 693 B, 8W0 407 694 B, 8W0 407 689 B

Shipping Weight: approx. 10.9 kg

Vehicle Fitment

Manufacturer

Model

Engine/Platform

Year

Audi

A4 / S4 / RS4 (B9 / B9.5) Saloon and Avant

B9 platform

Not stated by 034

Audi

A5 / S5 / RS5 (B9 / B9.5) Coupe, Sportback and Cabriolet

B9 platform

Not stated by 034

034 list the kit by platform (B9 and B9.5) rather than by engine.
