The rubber in the factory mounts has large voids, which lets the gearbox and differential move under load. That movement shows up as slack when you accelerate, lift off, change gear or launch.

The inserts fill those voids to limit drivetrain movement, giving firmer gear changes, better launches and a more direct response from the rear differential. 034 say the gearbox inserts add no noise or vibration in the cabin and the differential inserts add a low level, and that ride quality is unaffected. Each insert is CNC-machined in-house from T6-6061 aluminium and clear anodised.

The package was tested by 034, JH Motorsports and independent Audi owners. Fitting is straightforward, takes minutes, and can be reversed.

Key Features

Fills the voids in the factory gearbox and rear differential mounts

Reduces drivetrain movement during gear changes, launches and lift-off

Low NVH: none from the gearbox inserts, low from the differential inserts

CNC-machined T6-6061 billet aluminium

Clear anodised finish

Quick, fully reversible installation

What's in the box

034Motorsport billet aluminium gearbox mount insert

034Motorsport billet aluminium rear differential mount insert pair (front)

034Motorsport billet aluminium rear differential carrier mount insert pair (rear)

Product Details

Brand: 034 Motorsport

Manufacturer Part Number: 034-509-6001

Type: Drivetrain Mount Inserts

Country of Origin: United States

Performance Part: Yes

Unit Quantity: 1 package (3 insert sets)

Material: T6-6061 billet aluminium, CNC-machined

Finish: Clear anodised

Placement on Vehicle: Gearbox mount and rear differential mounts

NVH Rating (034): Low

Weight: 0.11 kg (0.24 lb)

Vehicle Fitment

Manufacturer

Model

Engine/Platform

Year

Audi

A6 C7 saloon and Avant - quattro only

2.0 TFSI, 3.0 TFSI, 3.0 TDI

2011-2018

Audi

S6 C7 saloon and Avant

4.0 TFSI

2012-2018

Audi

RS6 C7 Avant

4.0 TFSI

2013-2018

Audi

A7 C7 Sportback - quattro only

2.0 TFSI, 3.0 TFSI, 3.0 TDI

2010-2018

Audi

S7 C7 Sportback

4.0 TFSI

2012-2018

Audi

RS7 C7 Sportback

4.0 TFSI

2013-2018

Audi

A8 D4 - petrol quattro, built from 9 November 2015

2.0 TFSI, 3.0 TFSI, 4.0 TFSI

2015-2018

quattro models only. Front-wheel-drive A6 and A7 models do not have the rear differential these inserts fit.

A8 D4: 034 list only cars built from 9 November 2015 onwards, and not the TDI models.
