On the soft setting it is 144% stiffer than the factory 8V S3 \/ Mk7 Golf R bar (22.0 x 3.0 mm hollow), and 171% stiffer on the stiff setting - roughly 70% more than 034's standard MQB AWD rear bar. The result is flatter cornering, sharper turn-in and more rotation mid-corner, with the car willing to oversteer when you ask it to. It can be used with the factory front bar for the most rear-end rotation, or with 034's adjustable front bar for the sharpest track handling.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe bushings are Teflon and polyester lined polyurethane. They need no grease (none should be added), do not absorb water and handle temperatures up to 260 °C (500 °F).
