A much larger 325mm x 10mm two-piece floating disc replaces the factory rear disc, and a dedicated carrier bracket, finished in JCW red and mounted with the OE hardware, moves the factory rear caliper out to suit - a properly engineered bracket rather than a simple spacer.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe floating design lets the disc and hat expand radially and axially as they heat up, avoiding the warping and cracking seen in one-piece discs. MMX say the discs run up to 30% cooler than OE and last considerably longer. The friction ring is a proprietary alloy with MMX's grooves for extra bite and a clean pad surface, and the hat is CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium.
