The RP650 pads are a straight replacement for the factory pads using the standard braking hardware, with much higher resistance to high-temperature fade. That makes them ideal for fast road driving and occasional track days, with no compromise for daily driving.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMMX developed the compound to balance strong cold bite with high-temperature fade resistance. The result is a medium aramid fibre compound with a friction coefficient of 0.42mu across 450-650°C, so the pads work without a warm-up period.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eECE-R90 certification is a legal requirement for brake pads in most countries, and many aftermarket pads do not have it. To bed them in straight away, after fitting make a series of 10 stops from about 60mph to 5-10mph at roughly 0.8G (firm, just short of ABS), accelerating straight back up after each one. Do not come to a complete stop, as this can imprint pad material onto the disc and cause vibration.
