Of course, the complicated design has a technical background and also its advantages, such as .B lower exhaust back pressure and thus less heat accumulation in the turbocharger. That's why, in contrast to other manufacturers, we have distanced ourselves from a simple design with a narrow pipe bend directly after the turbocharger output. This narrow pipe bend has shown in our flow analyses that this design creates a higher back pressure despite the lack of a catalyst than our design. Only in the casting process has it been possible to ensure the absolute maximum flow and to maintain no disturbing transitions in the inner course of the downpipe.
A lower dynamic pressure and the thermal relief generate a significant increase in torque, power and earlier response and at the same time with an extension of the durability.
