Bluestuff also has good bite from cold and is an Aramid fibre base offering reduced rotor wear and has been popular with Trackday drivers due to its longer wear life than Yellowstuff.
Bluestuff material exhibits a 0.52μ stable friction once bedded stable up to a slightly higher 550℃/1000℉ than its sister compound yellow but with the benefit of 30% longer life.

Stainless Steel Overview
The standard Goodridge brake line hoses which are pre-assembled for various vehicle makes and applications are manufactured using a PTFE liner with stainless steel overbraid giving massive strength and durability. The fittings at each end of the hose are generally manufactured in zinc plated mild steel again very durable and will last many years, although over time the plating may discolour depending on the environment and use. Having the fittings manufactured in stainless steel, clearly this means that the fittings will remain bright for the life of the hoses.
