No more loss of boost pressure and power due to a defective PCV valve? Then you've come to the right place.
Advantages:
- no boost pressure losses
- no powerloss
- no turbocharger over-turning
- made ofcorrosion-resistant aluminium
- suitable with original intake/engine cover and all intakes
- incl. adapter for picking up boost/negative pressure: e.B. for boost pressure display or flap control of the exhaust system
Disadvantage of the series component:
- frequent boost pressure losses -> loss of power
Consequence: possible overturning of the turbocharger, as it tries to reach the set boost pressure.
Technical details:
- CNC milled PCV Fix
- black anodized
- Incl. expert opinion, therefore registration-free
- Installation within a few minutes
- Complete set with closure for the intake bridge
Scope of delivery:
- PCV Fix incl. all small parts
- incl. adapter for tapping the boost pressure
- Expert opinion
The crankshaft ventilation of an engine serves to burn its oil vapors.
These vapours accumulate in the valve cover and are discharged into the intake side of the turbocharger on the one hand and into the intake bridge on the other.
However, if the valve is defective, it is like a leak in the charge air system: the boost pressure escapes from the intake manifold.
This is where the PCV Fix comes into play.
It consists of a closure cover for the intake bridge and a closure plate for connecting the original PCV valve.
Thus, these boost pressure and resulting power losses are sustainably avoided.
In addition, an adapter for tapping charging or negative pressure is included in the set.
This is suitable, for example.B. for a boost pressure display or the connection of a flap control of the exhaust system.
In addition, the PCV Fix is suitable with the original intake / engine cover, as well as all intakes available on the market.
The PCV Fix is made of corrosion-resistant aluminium, then anodized in black and delivered complete with O-rings and screws.
The HF-Series PCV Fix has an expert opinion and is therefore registration-free.
Explanation:
1.The crankcase vent(1) is guided to the valve cover(2), where exactly the standard valve(3) is installed. The PCV valve (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) has a connection(4) to the intake bridge(5).
2.This valve opens at negative pressure.
3. At overpressure, it closes so that no boost pressure can escape from the intake bridge.
4. This is where the problem lies. The membrane of the original part tends to crack. Thus, boost pressure escapes from the intake bridge and there is a loss of power.
5.To avoid this, the PCV-FIX set is used to close the connection on the valve cover(1) and on the intake bridge(2).
The crankcase ventilation gases continue to be fed into the circuit via the intake.
HF-Series
HF-Series is the first point of contact when it comes to fresh air flow in vehicles. With this brand,HG-Motorsport has combined the professional research and production of high-quality intake systems, intercoolers and air duct systems. In addition to the 3D scan of the vehicle periphery for perfect fit, this also includes long test series to combine the optimal components for each individual model. This is how road-legal racing products are created.
