PFR44-630 Rear Motor Front Bush Inc. Bracket is a pre-assembled direct bolt-on replacement for the OEM electric motor mount on the rear axle, combining our signature Purple 80A Durometer Polyurethane material with an in-house CNC machined aluminium bracket. By using our road-biased polyurethane blend we have optimised the design for durability, without compromising on the comfort or ride quality. This makes the product ideal for your daily use car, helping to restore handling and driving response.
Why Powerflex?
Polyurethane has been with us as a specialised plastic for somethirty years. However recent advances have now made it possible toengineer very special properties into this exciting material. Suspensionbushes are some of the most highly stressed components fitted to amotor car. They undergo enormous strains and in the most arduous ofconditions with no maintenance or lubrication.
The material theyare manufactured from is a rubber compound containing natural productswhich deteriorate with age. It becomes softer and more pliable,resisting the forces placed on it less and less. Therefore allowing moreand more movement of suspension components and offering less and lesscontrol over the suspension geometry.
This in turn causesaccelerated tyre wear, braking instability and poor handling. This isthe single biggest reason you can instantly tell the difference driving athree year old car compared to a showroom new one. However even newcars will benefit from POWERFLEX bushes because of their superior designthey offer much more effective control of the suspension components to amuch greater extent than normal rubber items.
POWERFLEX forprolonged tyre life.With the technological advances in this material ithas been possible to overcome the common problem associated with harderbushes which is increased noise. By correctly engineering thepolyurethane compound, bushes can be made 25-30% stiffer than new rubberitems but with exactly the same noise absorbing properties.
