Specifically designed for the new Gen.4-equipped VW Tiguan ‘R’, Racingline’s new Turbo Inlet System features a larger diameter, free-flowing Turbo 90 Inlet, paired with a reinforced Silicone Turbo Inlet Hose, allowing for significantly higher airflow between the intake and turbo.
The standard factory inlet forces the airflow through a restrictive plastic ‘bellows’ pipe, before tapering down to pass through a tight and limiting plastic turbo inlet—far from ideal for optimal flow.
The Racingline Turbo Inlet System replaces this restrictive pipework with a larger diameter, smooth-flowing silicone hose, coupled with a larger diameter, thin-wall, free-flowing intake elbow.
The internal diameter of the Turbo 90 Inlet is greatly increased from 74mm in the factory part to a substantial 84mm. By combining both parts of the kit, we’ve been able to significantly enlarge the diameter of both the Inlet and the Hose—maximising potential gains.
Simply put, without this upgrade, much of the potential of your high-flow intake system is wasted. An essential enhancement!
