Volkswagen Racing R600 Cold Air Intake Kit ( Cotton Filter)
Looking
for the most sophisticated cold-air intake available for your
MQB-platform EA888 Gen3 car. The R600 intake is the world's best selling
system for this platform, and it's little wonder as it combines
OEM-standard design and quality with significant power gains on uprated
cars. Some people forget that it's what's inside that matters when it
comes to intake systems.
The R600 houses a double-sized cotton
filter inside the giant airbox, breathing in through twin air inlets to
achieve lower intake temperatures and worthwhile power gains,
significantly improving mass airflow through the turbo. It really is an
essential upgrade for higher-powered Golf 7 GTI, R and S3 models.
The
giant airbox and near-double sized surface area of the filter means
that air flow rates corresponding to up to 600bhp can be supported -
hence the name R600. With big-turbo conversions getting close to this
power output already, you can be reassured that the R600 has all the

been engineered to increase air flow through to the turbocharger as the
perfect compliment our VWR R600 Cold Air Intake or even the standard
airbox. A simple fitment, it replaces the entire restrictive rear
factory plastic bellows pipe between the airbox and the turbocharger
inlet pipe.
Our Turbo Inlet Pipe is a large diameter
smooth-flowing silicon hose, crucially with enough compliance to allow
for adequate engine movement without causing damage to the intake. There
are solid turbo inlet pipes on the market, but without this compliance
as the engine rocks under power, then something has to give - with a
solid pipe it will either be your intake, or the pipe itself.
Back-to-back comparisons with the factory pipe on our flow bench reveals
an impressive improvement in airflow, and makes a great compliment to
the R600 intake

The
VWR High-Flow Turbo 90 for MQB Golf 7 GTI/R and Audi S3 has been
engineered as a simple upgrade to significantly increase air flow into
the turbocharger. Its the perfect complement to either our VWR R600 Cold
Air Intake, the standard airbox or indeed any other aftermarket intake
system.
A simple fitment, the VWR High-Flow Turbo 90 is a large
diameter, free flowing intake elbow, CNC machined from aluminium billet
to replace the small and restrictive plastic factory inlet. Without it,
youre wasting the potential of your high-flow intake system as all of
your hard-won smooth flowing intake charge has to taper down to pass
through the tight and restrictive bend of the factory part.
The
result? Back-to-back comparisons against the factory elbow on our flow
bench reveals an impressive improvement in airflow. Weve seen some
surprisingly significant power and torque increases from the fitment of
the VWR High-Flow Turbo 90 as a result of the faster turbo spool and
increased airflow it generates. Youll even hear an enhanced sound from
your turbo as another benefit for any enthusiast.
VWR Turbo Outlet
The
VWR Turbo Outlet is a simple and cost-effective upgrade for any
MQB-platform car using the 1.8T and 2.0T EA888 TSI engines with the IHI
turbo. Our VWR Turbo Outlet is a sleek single billet design
which replaces the restrictive, power-robbing OEM part with a smooth,
turbulence free air path exiting the turbo.
What does it do? The
standard part is located on the outlet of the turbo compressor and is
simply designed to reduce engine bay acoustics. Whilst it subdues the
harmonic noises generated by the turbo, it also adds in disruptive
turbulence to the airflow right where you don't want it.
By
replacing the standard part with our VWR Turbo Outlet, youll
replace this restrictive section with a straight, uninterrupted piece.
The result: better boost response giving a little more power, all the
while being able to actually hear your turbo working
